Inspektoren
- Timber houses
- Sweden

Inside Inspektoren, a single-family house opens out through white-walled rooms floored in oak. Kitchen, dining and living areas share one main space that gives onto the garden through patio doors. A large picture window with a timber sill frames a rock outcrop and lawn just beyond the glass, a familiar feature of Swedish plots.
The kitchen pairs white handleless fronts with butcher-block wooden worktops and a green glass tile backsplash, fitted with built-in ovens and a stainless side-by-side fridge. In the living room, corner windows draw daylight from two sides and look onto a terrace and garden. A smaller room serves as a study, kept bright by its own window. The finishes stay pale and plain throughout, leaving the wooden floors and worktops to carry the warmth.
TUUYA builds mass timber houses like this to measure in Latvia and delivers them across Europe.
